About the Author:
Patrick J. Bruks is the Corporate Chair of the law firm Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C., and has been practicing transactional law for over fifteen years. He represents entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, publicly traded companies and governmental entities on a wide variety of transactions. Pat received a Bachelor of Arts in economics, with honors, from the University of Notre Dame, and was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. Pat is a frequent lecturer on contract analysis and is a professor at DePaul University College of Law where he teaches a Mergers and Acquisitions class based on his own materials and coursework.
