About the Author:

Elaine was born in East Kilbride, Scotland on 17th March, 1955, but has lived in Zimbabwe since the tender age of two. She is married with two adult children, both now themselves married and with the first grandchild due to arrive shortly. Elaine loves all animals, but most particularly, dogs, and currently enjoys the companionship of two such rescues. Patch is a mixture of so many canine breeds that he can only be described as a "Heinz 57 variety", while Skittle is a Jack Russel cross Fox Terrier.
