Synopsis

This is the true story of the first nonstop transpacific flight that took place from Japan to the United States in 1931. The complexity and length of the flight was even greater than the Lindbergh flight that occurred in 1927. During this time and while the preparations for the flight were planned, the cloud of war was descending over the world. The Japanese had just invaded Manchuria. The world was in an economic depression. Amelia Earhart grabbed the headlines a few months later in 1932 as the first woman to fly nonstop across the Atlantic.
