About the Author

John lives with his wife Candis and furrycompanions, in the beautiful village of Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. Raised in bothCanada and the United States John moved to Texas in 1968. There he spent 15years living and working at various jobs throughout the State, culminating ingraduating with a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at ElPaso.
 
Following careers as an entrepreneur, consultantand teacher, he retired after working as a Special Education Teacher in WesternMassachusetts, to live permanently in Mexico. His writing career has spanned 50years, publishing 9 books of poetry that explore relationships, spirituality,creativity, and his romance with life. A Long Way from Nowhere is hisfirst novel.
