Synopsis

Only thing I didn't like about this book was the ending, but nothing that I can really say about that either since this is a series. I can't wait to buy the next book in this series. Prepper porn! If you are a prepper than you will love this book. If you are not, then you may become one after reading this. The political situation in our country is close to what you find in the book. It may be a bit graphic for those that are squeamish, but if you like PA then you probably have read stuff with same level of violence. The thing with this book is that Thomas goes ahead and writes what most PA writers are afraid to write. As the story unfolds the government unleashes the military and homeland on it's own citizens. Some of those in law enforcement and military refuse and are dealt with in a way that may shock you, but most certainly is possible. The main character works at a sporting goods store and has access to a massive amount of firepower. Freaking Amazing! This book hits the reader like a punch to the gut. The scariest part is this is so much more likely to happen than zombies or an EMP. I loved Nelson and how he and his wife seem so much in synch without having it be unrealistic.
