About the Author
Phyllis Bennett serves as Director of Pastoral Care to Women and the Women’s Center for Ministry at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon where, as adjunct faculty, she also trains women to exposit God’s Word and write Bible study curricula. As a Bible teacher and conference speaker, she has a passion to inspire and encourage women to use their spiritual gifts and talents for the glory of God. She has spoken to audiences from 25 to 500, with warm-hearted and authentic messages that connect with women of all ages and walks of life. Phyllis has designed Developing Life-Changing Bible Study Curriculum to aid her in teaching PCW 521, a master’s level class entitled Developing Life-Changing Bible Study Curriculum. Phyllis holds a Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts in “Effective Ministry to Women.”
