About the Author

Lord Peter Chalant (85) started on his BDSM journey in 2004, after a protracted bout with cancer. He was then 74 and says he has been researching The Madame Claire crime thrillers ever since. “From the inside,” as he puts it with a wry grin. Back in the Sixties thru Eighties Peter was well known in the Toronto retail market as president of Mr. Gameways Ark, where he introduced Dungeons and Dragons and Trivial Pursuit to the Canadian scene. Previous adventures included Wig Shoppes of Canada and a chain of Union Jack Boutiques. Even earlier he had run the first art-movie house In Vancouver and was artistic director of the Cambie Theatre. He also had more than 100 TV dramas produced by CBC Vancouver For the past six years Lord and Lady Chalant have been hosts to the Kitchener-Waterloo monthly BDSM party FATMAN, (Friday At The Manse), featured in Predicament Bondage.
