About the Author

Scott Lockwood grew up reading a lot of science fiction books, but the Tom Swift Junior series ranks among his all-time favorites. So it should come as no surprise to find him writing his own Tom Swift Junior novels in later years. In addition to his other Tom Swift novel - "Paramagnetic Initializer" - he also has written two Brains Benton novels (another favorite series of his): "The Case of the Curious Cat" and "A Scandal At Crestwood College". Plus he has written two Brains Benton - Tom Swift Jr crossover novels: "The Subtraction Mystery" and "Case of the Other Missing Message", with a third novel soon to be released. Scott Lockwood currently lives in Lubbock, Texas, where he watches way too much television and comes up with all sorts of deadly perils for his young heroes to walk into.
