Michael Rennhack started his nuclear career in 1989, founded NukeWorker.com ten years later in 1999 and has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer since its inception. Under his leadership, NukeWorker.com has experienced phenomenal growth and has become the nation's leading provider of nuclear job site services and the nuclear industry's most popular community. Mr. Rennhack has been a member of the local and national Health Physics Societies since 1996. In 2000, Brookhaven National Lab honored Mr. Rennhack for his participation in their Ambassador Program for his work with the Boy Scouts, helping them earn their Atomic Energy Merit Badge. In 2008, Michael was elected Council Member of the East Tennessee Chapter of the Health Physics Society. In addition to founding NukeWorker.com, Mr. Rennhack has held radiological engineering, radiological management, and project management positions, and has worked at more than 50 nuclear facilities around the country. In 2014 Mr. Rennhack was nominated for the prestigious Charles D. (Bama) McKnight Memorial Award, which is awarded by the NRRPT Board of Directors to persons who have given outstanding efforts in the radiation protection training field leading to increased knowledge and professionalism among Radiation Protection Technologists. Born February 14th, 1971 in Michigan to Jerry and Betty Rennhack, Michael's love of computers began at age 11 when he programmed his first electronic community (BBS). Michael was the youngest board member of the local computer users group at age 14, and at age 18 he began his nuclear career as a decontamination technician. In 1999, Michael merged his passion for computers and the nuclear industry with the creation of NukeWorker.com, the first website dedicated to enriching nuclear workers lives. Michael met his wife Kathy in February, 2002 while working in Minnesota and proposed to her in September of that year while vacationing in Paris. They were married in June, 2003 in Jamaica and promptly moved to East Tennessee. In April of 2005 they were blessed with their daughter Lisa then again in February of 2009 with a son, Thomas. In August of 2008 the Rennhack's returned to Michael's home town in Southwest Michigan.
