Synopsis
When Superintendent Mac Chin, teams up with cryptographic archaeologist Stephen Young and wife Seebeth to decode a rare and ancient pre-Columbian manuscript, they unwittingly set in motion a series of events of world shaking importance. Set a few years in the future in the tourist capital of the Island of Jamaica coping with dramatic extremes of climate change, the death of a prominent art and antiquities dealer, his body dumped in a rain gully, leads to a life or death race across the island for possession of this valuable and historic document and a possible cache of buried Mayan relics. In the path of an approaching major hurricane, the team, desperately follow clues left by the dying man and dogged every step of the way by of a violent antiquities trafficking gang, find a bizarre mystery that defies time.
