CARIBBEAN MIDNIGHT is a thriller based in South Florida and the Caribbean. Quinton Parker is a successful young officer in the US Coast Guard. He follows a strict code of ethics that gives him a balance and consistency in his life. However, when his older brother inadvertently gets him entangled with the dark side of Miami's drug world, that consistency is challenged. This forces Quinton to deal with emotions he never knew existed in his structured world. During this time, he must learn to function outside of the normal operating procedures and follow his instincts while not allowing his feelings to take over. In the end he must figure out who he can trust in order to survive.

Joe A. Rector Jr. lives in Florida,but was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the heart of Indian country. He is of German, Cherokee and Seminole ancestry. He is the son of artists, Joe Rector and Marilyn Rector.
Joe Jr. grew up with art as a part of his life. His style of art is heavily influence by his fathers' work. As soonas he was able to hold a pencil he would look at Joe Sr.'s art and try to draw"like dad". An interest in art led Joe to attend training, under theguidance of his mother from Priscilla Hauser. By age 14 he had completed training and became the youngest accredited teacher in the nation.
Joe Jr. continued his studies of the arts in drafting and design throughout his education. He has used his creative and artistic abilities in architectural and engineering design since 1984.
As technology changed over the last decade Joe Jr. expanded his artistic endeavors to include the computer graphics. Joe has become established as a talented book cover designer havinghis art used on the works of over a dozen published novels. In addition to artwork, Joe is an accomplished author.
