Synopsis
I wrote this book because I finally realized what a real connection with another soul was about. Having found true love and what is involved I was inspired to write this book. Each poem tells a story. It reveals love, sadness, pleasure or an experience. There are also divine experiences that have been awakened within that are shared to inspire others to seek positivism and get closer to their personal belief. Being a native of the south and African American woman, I saw many things in life. I later discovered I have Native American and Caucasian blood as well, embracing all that I am. I was taught and molded into a young woman by my grandmother, who showed me by example what a lady should be like. In my life I saw many things, both good and bad. The bad things shaped me into the strong woman I am today. I took negative events and used them as learning experiences. I woke up one day and it was as if my mind was no longer my own. I had been chosen by God, to do things I never had a desire for, within my own volition. My wisdom, knowledge, and understanding had increased. I t was as if heaven had opened within my soul. The things I once sought on the outside, had been enlightened within. Happiness truly does come from within and I finally found it. I had worked in healthcare and mental health from the time I graduated high school. I always had a love for talking to people and understanding what makes people do many things. It was an inherent ability I was given. I guess you could say the indoctrination given to me by my grand-mother had sealed my heart with the word of God. It was impossible to escape the calling, so I finally surrendered after the eight year which was my year of completion, in 2016. I sought the kingdom of God and all was added.

The Power of Love was inspired by love. Each day brings about different things and experiences. I learned to live in each moment and embrace love as I experience it in the now. Each poem has its own uniques experience. I truly can appreciate the phrase "Live In The Moment".On the road to discover happiness, I was inspired to write this book. Happiness comes from within. If you seek to be happy on the inside and with yourself, those things are manifest on the outside through your smile.To better understand others, you must first understand yourself. Never be afraid to learn something new each day.
