About the Author

Dr. Bishop is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he ascended to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in seven years. He served as a leadership facilitator and later as a program manager for one of the navy’s three enlisted leadership programs at the Center for Naval Leadership (CNL), where he designed, developed, and revised the navy’s enlisted leadership curriculum. His dynamic and energetic style made him a highly sought and engaging facilitator. The contributions he made to CNL had a lasting impact Navy-wide, and many of his ideas and designs are still in use today. He holds degrees from Excelsior College (BS), Regent University (MBA, DSL), and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program.
