Dr. Lee V. Stiff, President of EDSTAR Analytics, Inc. and Past President of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, is Professor of Mathematics Education at North Carolina State University. He has served on NASA's Inaugural Education Advisory Committee, the Mathematical Science Education Board of the National Research Council, and the Board of Directors of the Benjamin Banneker Association, among several other leadership activities. As a professor and co-author of K-12 mathematics textbooks, he has been innovative in the development of teaching strategies and tools that enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics in schools. Dr. Janet Johnson, CEO of EDSTAR Analytics, Inc, has been working with school systems to help them use data, evaluate programs, and identify effective practices for more than two decades. Janet has been a middle school math and reading teacher, and specializes in making data-use easy for educators who have no statistical backgrounds. She has extensive experience with helping agencies and school systems develop STEM programs and get and keep grant funding. She has designed professional development to help educators understand data, and use it to support success for all students.
