Synopsis

A PRICELESS TREASURE LOST TO TIME …

In 830 AD, a brilliant Maya architect constructed a massive vault deep within a hidden canyon. For twelve centuries, it has protected an astonishing treasure … and a terrifying secret.

A SALVAGE EXPEDITION TO PARTS UNKNOWN …

Haunted by tragedy, treasure hunter and extreme salvage expert Cy Reed leads an expedition to one of the last untouched places on Earth. But upon reaching the canyon, a strange accident cuts the team off from the outside world. Meanwhile, a shaman senses a disturbing shift in the natural order. And a famed archaeologist follows the trail of a civilization that vanished without explanation.

A SECRET OF CATASTROPHIC PROPORTIONS!

Assaulted by endless rain, bizarre phenomena, and deadly traps, Cy races to unravel a puzzle millions of years in the making.

With impossible creatures stalking the jungle and floodwaters tearing through the ruins, Cy and his team fight their way toward a final discovery that could free him from his demons … or drown the region beneath a tidal wave of destruction.

The Maya sealed the vault for a reason.
And now, someone’s about to open it.

TORRENT is a high-stakes archaeological adventure thriller for readers of Clive Cussler, James Rollins, and Matthew Reilly.
