About the Author

Since 1995, David has competed in over 100 triathlons including 28 IRONMAN distance races (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run). He has achieved a personal best time of less than nine hours and has five overall wins at the Iron distance. He is also an eight-time USA Triathlon All-American.
