Synopsis
When Wyoming author Dodge Graham buys a charming little painting at an estate sale, he has no idea that the canvas holds the power to turn his life upside down.
But when Dodge takes a closer look, he realizes that the pony in the painting bears a striking resemblance to one owned by his sister-in-law, Jan. Even stranger, the painting was finished a full fifteen years before Jan’s pony was born.
Unwilling to let the matter rest, Dodge and his beautiful wife, Laurel, set out on a mission to figure out why and how the horses look so much alike.

About the Author
R. W. Holt lives in his childhood home in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Holt worked in the food service industry for thirty-five years and began writing books after he retired. Having written songs for his own enjoyment since the age of fifteen, he finally decided to use his aptitude for language to write stories.
His first book, Lion on a Leash, is a tribute to his first chow. The Secret of the Painted Pony is his second title in print.
