About the Author

Julie Ford is a wife, mom, author, certified life coach, speaker, and trainer. She helps organizations support their high performers through parenting transitions. She firmly believes that when things are running smoothly at home, amazing things can happen at work! With one-on-one and group coaching, she helps her clients to define what matters most in their lives, and to realize what is and isn't working. Collaboratively, they move through a plan to find more joy and less chaos in the everyday. Julie speaks to groups and leads live and virtual classes on numerous topics related to prioritization, creating values-based habits, and keeping joy and passion in work and life. Her live workshops have entertained and enlightened audiences large and small since 1997. The mark we leave on this world is that which we've loved the most. A mark Julie hopes to leave on the world is to assist working parents in moving through life with limited chaos, finding joy in every minute possible. Julie holds a BA degree in Rhetoric from University of Illinois and an MA in English Composition and Rhetoric from the Northern Illinois University. Her thesis explored the importance of writing in a coach/client relationship. She is certified by The Coaches Training Institute. Julie lives in southern Wisconsin with her husband and two daughters.
