4th December 2016, Mail on Sunday EVENT magazine "Children's Books of the Year 2016": "Lovers of slime and goo will delight in this laugh-out-loud book stuffed with fun rhyming prose and entertaining pictures. Milo isn't allowed pets, but sneaks some tadpoles home from the park and gets a nasty surprise when one becomes an enormous frog which devours the contents of his house and school (including his horrible headmaster).
