Rachel Johnson est nee a Londres en 1965. Apres ses etudes a Oxford, elle a travaille pour le Financial Times pendant cinq ans puis pour la BBC en tant que reporter sur Radio 4. Elle a ecrit des editoriaux et realise divers portraits pour plusieurs journaux dont le Sunday Telegraph, le Daily Telegraph, le Sunday Times et l Evening Standard. Elle a aussi edite plusieurs romans dont "Le Diable a vit Notting Hill" qui rencontra un beau succes en France en 2010. Elle est maintenant redactrice en chef du Lady magazine, l hebdomadaire feminin le plus ancien du monde.
