Comparative Perspectives on Privacy in an Internet Era (The Global Papers Series) - Softcover

9781531009571: Comparative Perspectives on Privacy in an Internet Era (The Global Papers Series)

Synopsis

The papers published here resulted from the Privacy Discussion Forum held in June 2017 at Uppsala University Faculty of Law (Uppsala, Sweden). That event brought together privacy scholars from all over the world to examine privacy issues through a variety of lenses, including (but not limited to) tort law, Constitutional law, and administrative law perspectives. The forum considered privacy issues related to media intrusions on individual autonomy, as well as governmental and private uses of information (not only collection issues, but also distribution and use issues). The papers published here provide interesting comparative perspectives on the topic.
