About the Author

Port Martin has had a long-time interest in medical and health subjects. He began reading medically related books at age 10 and wandered into hormone-related ones in 2009. After hitchhiking through Europe and serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War (flying helicopters mostly), he worked as a technical manager in a research facility, served as a management consultant, helped start a master's degree program at the University of San Diego, and decided to capture some of his thoughts in a variety of written forms. He lives and works in San Diego, California, and particularly enjoys vacations in Hawaii.
