Kim Rae Nugent is a multi-media artist, author and teacher who resides in Wisconsin (USA) with her husband, Mark and boston terrier dog family. Visual journaling is not new to her, in fact she has been combining words with images since she was first able to write. But over the years her visual journaling has changed in different directions and continues to grow in importance. Her first book Interactive Art Workshop: Mixed Media in Motion, published by North Light Books, also has visual journaling applications. Kim has studied art at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Washington County and Cardinal Stritch University. Her artwork has been featured in numerous books and magazines. She was an Artist-on-Call for Stampington & Company's Inspirations magazine. Kim also participates regularly in local and national exhibits and shows.
