About the Author

Scott Douglas Vaughan is a lifelong writer and storyteller. He grew up in Cumming, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia, studying journalism and sociology. Through a twenty-year newspaper career, stories from his life won awards as newspapers columns through both the Georgia and South Carolina press associations.

In his life’s second chapter, as a communication consultant to North American churches and faith organizations, Scott’s stories have appeared as illustrations in his educational clinics, Bible lessons, community speeches, and Sunday sermons.

Scott and his wife, Vicki, live in Lexington, South Carolina. They have four grown sons, Andrew, who is married to Elizabeth; William; Richard; and Matthew.
