This is Jesus Christ is an unbiased examination of what the Bible really says about Jesus Christ. It is not promoting any religion. Neither is it arguing the Bible is true, or it’s inerrant, or Jesus is God, or even that there is a God. This book just examines and clarifies the Bible’s real teachings about Jesus. Anyone, believer or nonbeliever, can use it to determine what the most popular book in history really teaches about the person known as Jesus Christ, who lived and died 2000 years ago. This book extracts portions of the 1100-page two-volume IS JESUS “GOD”? (Sapient Books), which is a comprehensive examination of fifty-five (55) specific doctrines about Jesus that when put together, shows the New Testament has a core message, a single soteriological cosmology centered on Jesus Christ. This may not sound remarkable, but it shows the Bible to be the world’s only unedited, frameless, correlative anthology – an accomplishment without peer in literature. This is Jesus Christ does something unique: It lets the Bible speak for itself without using theological filters to interpret the text. The reader is expected to make up his or her mind on how they’ll interpret the passage. This book also points out that atheism has three enormous problems that need resolution in order to be truly credible: 1. How did anatomically modern humans come into existence? 2. How did the universe come into existence? 3. How did life come into existence? It shows the explanations of atheism are just assumptions or contradictions of the existing evidence whereas the belief that God is responsible for these empirical issues has a greater probability of being correct. These issues are not “proof” that God is real, only that his existence is highly likely given atheism’s current inability to provide better evidence.
