About the Author:

Donna is a survivor of nearly three decades of domestic violence and abuse from childhood through married life. She left abuse in her late twenties. Over time, and wound by wound, the Lord brought deep healing to her life. Today, as a volunteer advocate to those abused, she shares her poetry and writings to help validate the pain of all those, male and female, who are victims of domestic abuse. She longs to bring hope through Jesus for a life free from abuse.
