About the Author
Uzodinma Iweala won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the New York Public Library Young Lions Award, the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, and the Sue Kauf-man Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters for Beasts of No Nation. He is also the author of Our Kind of People, a work of nonfiction. He lives in New York City and Lagos, Nigeria.
