This is a collection of nonfiction, consisting of prose and poetry of my experience as a Japanese American female living in American society. These are the memories, struggles, scars, and emotional battles of a gang rape and suicide survivor in its very rawest form. The book addresses issues of racism against Asian Americans including the model minority myth. Descriptions can get very graphic. Note that this can result in triggers.
