About the Author

Winfred Yaokumah holds a PhD in Information Technology, MSc in Computer Applications, and BSc in Computer Science. He is a Senior Lecturer and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Computing at the Pentecost University College, Accra, Ghana. He has over 25 years of industrial experience in application development, notably at the Bank of Ghana, Hightel Consults, and International Computers Ltd. He has been lecturing in Web programming and data driven application development for the past 17 years. As the CEO of Hightel Consults, he designs, manages, and implements large-scale Web-based commercial software applications for organizations using PHP and MySQL. He developed Financial Management Systems for financial institutions, Course Management Systems for educational institutions, Human Resource Systems, Asset Register, Hotel Management Systems, Stock Management Systems, and several customized systems. As a researcher, he has published extensively in several international journals.
