About the Author

Tony Williams is a successful author whose first book was published in 1994. His book, Island of Dreams, published by Penguin Books, was a nonfiction story about the author’s quest for paradise. It was serialized in the Daily Mirror over a five day period and appeared in several other newspapers and magazines. After the book’s release, Tony was featured on the Richard and Judy television chat show. The book became an international best seller. Tony published a second nonfiction book in 1997, The Forgotten People. The book was also serialised in the Daily Mail. The book detailed the author’s trip to a reservation in North America. Timewatch documentary Before Columbus 1997. About his trip to America. Tony’s third book was Black Pearls, published by Gomer 2000, about his solo trip to the South Seas. Orion published Uncle Jack hardback in 2005. On launch of the book, it became an instant bestseller. Tony appeared on numerous radio and television shows, such as the Richard and Judy show on Channel 4. Richard Madeley, the presenter, announced: “I think he’s got him...extraordinary...amazing.”The book was serialized in the Daily Mail. Other newspapers were enthusiastic about Uncle Jack.
