I write this story as a form of closure as well as an opening to a new door. I want to use my experiences as a learning tool for others and a reminder to myself that I am a strong woman. I want others of all ages to realize they are not alone. We have the power to create the life we want. We just have to believe. I went from victim to victor, now a voice! Use my words as a brief look into my world. Who would’ve thought that through low self-esteem, sexual assault, abusive relationships, divorce, and many other trials, I would like what I see when I look in the mirror?

About the Author:
Arianna A. Grant Ed.S, an educator born and raised on the south side of Chicago is a woman with a mission. Ari (as she is affectionately called) is the founder of All About Greatness LLC, (AAG) an educational portal concentrated on educating individuals in academics and life skills training.Under the AAG umbrella, Ari plans to uplift and groom women of all ages to love themselves first through positive self-awareness Ari graduated from Kenwood Academy High School and earned her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Chicago State University in 1997. She went on to earn a masters in Education and her Education Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Concordia University.She worked 14 years with the Chicago Board of Education serving as Lead Teacher, School Facilitator, Dean of Students and Assistant Principal. She currently works for a public school system in Georgia. Ari has gone from victim to victor and wants to share her personal testimony through AAG. To bring her program full circle Ari has also earned her credentials to become a certified life coach.
