About the author: Born and raised in Washington, DC, Marlene W. Potts is a wife, mother of three daughters and grandmother to one adorable little girl. Her writing began in High school when she was offered a chance with the Literary Arts Program at the Penn Center. She has worked in both public and private schools and with the federal government. She spent eleven years homeschooling her daughters and other children. She is now a full-time caregiver, and author, focusing on her detective series and some smaller projects, while learning the craft of screenplay writing. She currently lives in the Palm Bay, Florida, area.
