When three people's lives collide in a perfect storm of heartbreak and ruin, betrayal and love, will they be destroyed or transformed by their fate? They are drawn to coastal South Carolina to an oceanfront Victorian B & B inn, fleeing their former lives. Jade Armstrong from Santa Barbara is newly divorced and left with nothing by her treacherous ex-husband. Gabriel Montoro of San Antonio is reeling from a cheating wife and loss of living with his young daughter. Rick Stirling owns the inn and has suffered a devastating personal loss.

Through work and friendship, their inner conflicts extend to each other while vying for the need for survival, healing, attraction and love. The plot twists keep the reader guessing about their individual and linked destinies. None of them want love or relationship, but as they move into and through the emotional storm of their lives, destiny brings them together in an extraordinary way in the quaint beach town of Golden Shores.

The story takes place in the Grand Strand region of coastal South Carolina providing a restorative, inspiring seaside setting. A charming oceanfront inn complete with mystical, enchanting elements lifts the characters' spirits and helps them on their journeys. Their passionate triangle must be broken for them to move on with their lives, but who ends up with whom, or do they, and when?

From the Author:
As the writer of novels of relationships, love, family, friends and life in general that span time, I can honestly say, as most authors would, that personal experience directly influences most of my stories. I've been asked what will I do when I run out of personal experiences? I answer, "No one runs out of life experience until they die." And I believe, even then, after that, life goes on and I sometimes write about this aspect, too--what happens after that last breath and the next new breath in a new form of living. There are so many ways to imagine this, or, in some cases, recall this, that there is an infinite number of stories to write about life in all its manifestations.   When I write, I include realistic human experience--from heartbreak, loss, abuse, pain in every way to the other end of the spectrum of love, kindness, kinship, healing, and growth among other aspects. Some of my stories show how the repercussions of these 'acts of living' are so deep-seated and profound that they might span life and death. Not all my books deal with this (the first two do--Eternal Seas and Echoes of Love), but most will have some form of mystical influences or events. Why? Because life is not ordinary or predictable. Life in its essence is unfathomable and reaches beyond the here and now. It's miraculous, extraordinary, magical and inexplicable within our earthly comprehension.  My characters, plots and themes everyone can relate to--grounded, real people who face challenges like everyone alive. I've dealt personally with a lot of my subject matter, and learned a great deal through others I've known and shared their life experiences. That is the base from which my imagination springs to create fictional stories and characters.
Review:
. . . Heart Storms is a beautifully written story about heartache, betrayal, love, loss and letting go of the past. Written from three POV's, the reader is instantly plunged into the minds of the three main characters. Emotionally gripping, I found myself crying over the suffering Jade, Rick and Gabriel go through. The more angst, the more my fingers turned the pages. There are a few twists in the plot I didn't see coming. . . . A thought-provoking book.  If you're looking for a poignant book blending mystical and romantic elements, pick up Heart Storms today. - N.N. Light's Book Heaven
