Synopsis
Curving Back is the eighth book of poems published by Ruth F. Guillard. The title comes from a Vedic description: “Curving back onto myself, I create again and again”. This latest collection is colored by the passing of Dr. Robert Guillard, the author’s husband of 53 years; the first section is dedicated to him. The rest of the book is filled with her descriptive nature poems, poems of shared human experience, and a group of wry verses on current topics.

About the Author
Ruth Fredericks Guillard, BFA Music, '52, University of Pennsylvania, is a certified teacher of the Transcendental Meditation technique since 1974. Her poetry was chosen for publication in "Take Heart", a collection of Maine poets. She lives on the Damariscotta River in Boothbay, Maine.
