About the Author

About the Author Douglas was born in Richford, Vermont, in a Christian family. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Navy. When he completed his enlistment, he was involved in Nuclear Medicine and Animal Husbandry. He was a Building Superintendent for a large bank in Vermont when he attended V.A.S.T. (Vermont Academy of Spiritual Training). This led Douglas to be a Servant of God. Douglas published his first book in 2005 and overcame cancer of the colon. This led him to continue to write as he developed a lifelong battle with sleep apnea, and epilepsy that has him on constant oxygen. Douglas has written over twenty Christian-based books. God has blessed him with a beautiful talent of humor and creativity with words. A way to make you stop and think deeply about life and reality or make you laugh and smile and feel happy depending on the storyline. His writing of each chapter leaves you feeling that you just have to read one more chapter. Douglas and his wife Joan live in North Carolina.
