K. M. Barrett is a small town screenwriter and author from Upstate New York. She has written several screenplays, short stories, poems, and novels. She has entered many screenplays into competitions and film festivals all over the globe, including her Award-Winning thriller Disillusionment. She is known for writing dramas and psychological thrillers and now is starting to branch out into other genres including romance and science fiction. She devotes her time to reading, writing, studying screenplays and films. When she is not writing, she works part-time as a receptionist and spends her days with her family, her very loving and supporting fiancé Matthew and their quirky cat Libby.
