Real estate appraiser, Tyler Greenlee, walked into a vacant house on assignment and found a body hanging from the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. It startled him almost to shock, but he steeled himself to stop and take pictures. But then, when he left and called the police and returned with them, the body had disappeared. The search for the body became intense when others were losing their life and Tyler decided the body must be found soon before more people were killed. When the former Army Captain, Kate Simmons, now a Lieutenant in the sheriff’s detectives, was also nearly killed trying to help Tyler, he felt drawn to both women. He found himself attracted to someone for the first time since losing his wife two years ago.
