Whether you know him as Bobby or Robert you know that poetry has always been a way for this young man to liberate his deepest feelings. Orginally from Montclair New Jersey but raised in Charlottesville Virginia, he was born with poetry and a love for literature in his blood. Poetry has always been a safe haven for him to expose his feelings whether joyful or troubling and he encourages others to do the same in any genre of art. Kahlil Gibran's book titled The Prophet was given to Robert at an early age from his mother. This book made a powerful impact towards his love for poetry and writing. Some of his most admired poetic comrades and coffee house poets are Precious Weddington, RL The Gifted One, CP Maze, Keisha McKane, Lavinia Jackson, Alfred Harrell, Janelle Strickland, Samantha Kim Erwin, Josephus Thompson III, Megan Rickman, Latasha Carter, and Christopher Barker just to name a few. Open this book and discover Robert's mind unleashed and take a journey into the inner-city dreams of poetry from this young poet.

In his early childhood years his mother introduced him to Kahlil Gibran's book titled The Prophet. At a young age that book was the Genesis for his love and passion for writing. From a troubling life in his teens and early 20's with drug addiction, visits to psych wards and drug rehabilitation programs this young man now clean in recovery is a living testimony of the existence of God and the plans He has for us. Robert hopes to be able to use his poetry and the gift of writing to be an instrument of peace, joy, strength, courage and faith for others.
