Debora Pearson is the author of several children's books, including the Mighty Wheel series, illustrated by Chum McLeod. Load 'Em Up Trucks is the first book in the series. She co-authored the first two books in Annick Press's Adventure Travel series: 52 Days by Camel: My Sahara Adventure (1998) and By Truck to the Arctic (1998). Debora is the editor of the acclaimed The TV Book: The Kids' Guide to Talking Back (1996) by Shelagh Wallace. She lives in Toronto.
Chum McLeod has illustrated books for several publishers, including the popular Henry and the Cow Problem (1992) for Annick Press. Chum lives in Barrie, Ontario.
