About the Author

Morley Callaghan lived in Paris during the golden years of Hemingway and Fitzgerald, but he spent most of his life in Toronto producing 15 novels, a memoir, and numerous short stories. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature and received Canada's Governor General’s Award for Fiction. He died in 1990.
