About the Author
Lance Woolaver was born in Digby County, Nova Scotia and educated at Acadia University. He is the author of numerous books including From Ben Loman to the Sea and Christmas With the Rural Mail. Bob Brooks is one of Canada's finest photojournalists. His images have appeared in the Toronto Star Weekly, Newsweek, Life and Maclean's.
