About the Author
Anne Ratchford is the English Department Head at St. Augustine CHS in York Catholic DSB, and has taught English for 21 years. She has a B.A. in English, a B.Ed., and an M.A. in Drama. She wrote Get It Written, Get It Right! for Emond Montgomery Publications. Anne has delivered a number of workshops on using screenplays in the English classroom. Her main areas of interest in teaching are to provide students with a strong foundation in writing and communication skills, and to use technology effectively in the English curriculum. Her current project is working with iPads in the English classroom.
