First published in Hardcover in 1987 by Lester & Orpyn Dennys, this comprehensive and illustrated history has persisted through its second printing in paperback and remains the authoritative text on Canadian History.
About the Author
Craig Brown, the Editor, is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Toronto. He is the author of several works of Canadian history, including Robert Laird Borden, A Biography. He is President of the Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Royal Society of Canada, a Killam Scholar, and a Past President of the Canadian Historical Association. He lives in Toronto.
