About the Author
Evelyne Michaels is a writer who specializes in health and medicine. Her work has appeared regularly in many national publications. She is currently the editor of Health News, a consumer health letter published by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
Michael Gordon is a specialist in geriatric medicine. He is head of Geriatrics and Internal Medicine at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gordon writes and speaks extensively for the benefit of lay and professional audiences on issues in aging.
