When Sam realizes that his friends' disappearance has something to do with the scroll and that the scroll itself is linked to England's mysterious crop circles, he foregoes his plans for a quiet vacation and dedicates his summer to searching for Jolly and Edgar.
But he isn't alone ... The evil Professor Mandrake is searching, too, and he has his own scroll to guide him. As the search for the missing Goodfellows ranges from England to the United States, and Sam and Mandrake battle for possession of the scrolls, we discover the origin of these special relics, as well as their importance to the history - and the future - of humankind.

About the Author
Judith Christine (J.C.) Mills is a sculptor and painter who began writing in 1993. Since then she has written and illustrated a number of children's picture books ( including The Stonehook Schooner and The Painted Chest) a trilogy of fantasy novels called The Goodfellow Chronicles: Book 1: The Sacred Seal, Book 2 :The Messengers, and Book 3: The Book Of The Sage and two Young Adult novels : Carew and The Strange Voyage of The Raconteur. Mills lives with her husband and son in Toronto, Canada.
