Synopsis
When eleven-year-old Freya meets Morton—a peregrine falcon who has been stripped of his feathers—in the woods near her home, she has no idea what to make of him. What has happened to this poor creature, and what force has destined that he cross her path?
Before long, Freya and Morton have embarked on an adventure that will take her far, far away from her goatherd father’s small house. About the Author
SEAN DIXON is the author of several plays, including Billy Nothin', Aerwacol, The Painting and an adaptation of The White Bone, Barbara Gowdy's novel about a community of elephants. His first novel, The Girls Who Saw Everything (aka The Last Days of the Lacuna Cabal in the UK and the US), was chosen by Quill & Quire as one of the top books of 2007.
