In the 1880s, the East End of London became the staging place for a series of bloodcurdling murders that caused outrage and widespread panic throughout the nation. Although many criminologists have speculated as to the identity of the killer, to this day the murderer is known only as Jack the Ripper. The tale of his four-month reign of terror is told in this gripping story.

Susan McNicoll lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where she divides her time between writing and running her own bookkeeping and tax accounting business. Susan's life-long love of words and history has been the main focus of her writing career, which began in the 1970s when she worked as a reporter for the Ottawa Journal. Her book on post-war Canadian theater is schedualed for publication in 2005 by Ronsdale Press. In this, her third Amazing Stories book, she crosses the ocean to tackle that most famous of serial killers, Jack the Ripper. In doing so, Susan returns to a country where she spent many of her formative years, including three at Tortington Park School in Sussex. Although her published work to date has been non-fiction, Susan is currently working on a series of fables based on the four seasons of healing.
