David N. Brems was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1951. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Utah. Dr. Brems has worked as a scientist in the biopharmaceutical field for almost twenty years. He has published over sixty articles in scientific journals and is the inventor of several patents.
