About the Author:

Chad Daybell lives in Utah, with his wife, Tammy, and their five children. He graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in Journalism, where he served as the city editor of The Daily Universe.

Following graduation he worked for three years as a copy editor at The Standard Examiner in Ogden, Utah, before returning to his hometown to serve as a cemetery sexton. It was during his time as sexton that he wrote the Emma Trilogy. After four years in that unique profession, he accepted employment as the manager of a computer supply company in Provo. At that time, he wrote the popular One Foot in the Grave, a collection of amusing strange-but-true stores from his years in the cemetery.

Chad served an LDS mission among the Spanish-speaking people of New Jersey, and he has served in several capacities in the church. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, following the local sports teams and working in his yard.
