Matt Kailey, a journalist with Out Front Colorado newspaper in Denver, is the author of Just Add Hormones: An Insider's Guide to the Transsexual Experience, a Lambda Literary Award finalist in 2006. His work has appeared in 5280 magazine; I Do, I Don't: Queers on Marriage; From the Inside Out: Radical Gender Transformation, FTM and Beyond; the Journal of Bisexuality; and numerous other publications. He is the winner of the 2003 Poets & Writers, Inc. Writers Exchange Award for fiction. He has also appeared in three films: Matt Kailey: A Conversation; Kaiser Permanente's Our Lives; and the award-winning Call Me Malcolm. He lives in Denver.
